Statement

If you struggle with putting your words on paper, then the IEP Input Statement is for you.  This is the best solution to help you develop a vision that is clear, concise, and communicate the needs of the student.

Description

As a special education teacher, and manager  I know first hand that this section is often glanced over. Yes, it’s filled out. Yes, parent and teacher concerns are summarized. However, it’s definitely not given the time and attention it needs considering what a critical change it can make in the IEP process. I will help you develop a vision statement and make sure that value is in your input statement so that your child can prepare for employment, further education, and independent living.

Features

Each and every Input statement should include the teacher/parent’s concerns and desired outcomes for…

  • Communication
  • Academics
  • Peer Relations
  • Behavior/Sensory Regulation
  • Placement/school day experiences

I will assist and teach you how to write an effective input statement. *Nicolette Lesniak does NOT give legal advice. All advocacy decisions are your own.
